Oracle DBA and Unix Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Oracle database for multiple instances of Oracle eBusiness Suite applications on HP Unix Platform.

Oracle Weblogic Developer

Location:  Newton, MA or Irvine, CA

The Strategic Innovation development team is looking for an outstanding engineer / developer to work as part of a tightly integrated project based organization. The team will be developing and deploying new systems based on Oracle and other industry standard tools and product suites.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·          Work as part of the HID engineering team in Newton, Ma facility to design and develop an end to end system based on Oracle Weblogic Suite, web based applications, SOA workflows and Oracle databases. It will be necessary to interface with existing HID Oracle systems, Agile, eBusiness suite, Oracle & other database systems & legacy applications.

·          Provide custom web based applications and UI for new products and service offerings, internal / outsourced manufacturing partners, OEMs and end users.

·          Assist in the design feasibility demonstration & implementation of scalable workflow based systems for HID business use.

·          Provide that all source code and system documentation will be adequately commented and archived utilizing the Seapine SCM system provided by HID.  

·          Develop testing scripts, applications and procedures for QA and verification of the system modules. Using these tools the developer will work with HID engineering to verify complete system functionality, security, robustness and performance in various production environment scenarios.

·          Work with HID engineering and IT, to develop training materials and documentation appropriate for internal and external parties, for all applications.

·          Assist in the transition of the portal and applications from the development / engineering environment to the IT production environment. Including enterprise system Configuration and Customization, system Testing, system Rollout and Technology Transfer/Handoff to HID IT

Applications System Administrator - EA


Location:  Irvine, CA

The Applications System Administrator position provides analytical, technical and administrative expertise in the life cycle of acquiring / developing, implementing and maintaining enterprise business applications.  The System Administrator will be responsible for configuration, customization, ongoing maintenance and the day–to-day administration and support of CRM (Salesforce), PRM (Partner Relationship Management), Product Configuration and PPM (Project Portfolio Management) applications in addition to other existing or future SaaS-based or in-house applications as applicable to various business functions of HID Global i.e. Finance, Budgeting & Forecasting and Business Intelligence etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with IT and Business partners to effectively and efficiently maintain support and enhance enterprise business applications.

The Sr. Linux/Oracle Engineer position is responsible for providing day to day efficient operation of the HID Global’s Production Linux and Oracle environment globally.

The Sr. Linux/Oracle Engineer position is a hands-on technical position with Planning, development and implementation skills.  The position requires exercise of discretion and independent judgment in evaluation of user request/requirement, determining and implementing the optimum technical approach/solution and related documentation by applying system analysis techniques and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administration of Production and Development Physical Web Servers and Web Applications (Oracle Weblogic 11g).  Replace hardware and update software as needed.
  • Administer Oracle and MySQL Databases on Linux Machines, perform backups and administer security.
  • Develop DR/BC plans, policies, and procedures for Web environments. Perform testing of those procedures
  • Responsible for new and replacement Linux and Windows Server Implementation and Troubleshooting across the Organization.
  • Analyze existing Linux environments and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Linux infrastructure.  Assist in end-user services, including 2nd level help desk and technical support services.

Oracle Database Developer

Location: Newton, MA


The HID IT Development team is looking for an outstanding engineer / developer to work as part of a tightly integrated project based organization. The team will be developing, integrating with and deploying new systems based on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g platform and other industry standard tools and product suites.

Projects will include: Developing Fusion middleware based BPEL workflows, integrating numerous internal and external systems (via webservice and other adapters) and functions together to create a complete system of Order thru delivery infrastructure. This system is intended to provide new capabilities and efficiencies for HID in the areas of web based services, secure digital product delivery, secure manufacturing, product tracking and data management and control.  The system will integrate numerous HID functional modules together (Configurator, Oracle Ebusiness suite, Agile, Secure digital vaults and other manufacturing systems) to provide a state of the art secure data delivery systems for smartcard and other security / identity related products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business unit, engineering and 3rd party resources – teams to design, develop and enhance; end to end system solutions based on the Oracle 11g platform. Webservices, SOA-BPEL workflows, Oracle Enterprise service bus and Oracle databases. It will be necessary to interface with existing HID Oracle systems, Agile, eBusiness suite, Oracle & other database platforms & legacy applications.
  • Design, develop and implement Oracle 11g databases, packages, interfaces and scripts in support of enterprise level system development.
  • Assist in the design, feasibility, demonstration & implementation of new scalable high availability, high performance oracle database systems for HID business use.
  • Examples of database applications include:

o Automated Data Intake and processing of data between HID and its B2B customer systems for numerous types of fully automated business transactions. (Validation, mapping and scrubbing).
