HID Launches Globally Certified identiCLASS™ e-ID Embedded Reader Platform
For OEM partners and system integrators seeking e-government solutions, HID Global has recently launched identiCLASS™, a ready-to-use e-ID embedded reader platform that provides developers the ultimate flexibility to design-in turnkey solutions for e-ID markets. The new e-government platform allows developers to significantly reduce cost and accelerate time to market. identiCLASS features include:
- 3300 Reader Core – for hand-held terminals and other space critical applications
- 3500 Reader Board – for kiosk terminals where multiple antennas are required
- CE and FCC approvals to significantly reduce the time required for certification of developers’ finished solutions
- Open platform that encompasses MIFARE®, DESFire, and iCLASS®; Windows®, Windows CE, Linux® and Mac operating systems
