The Crescendo C700 and C200 smart cards are ready to use with the Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007, Certificate Lifecycle Manager Component (CLM).

Installation Requirements

For the C700, the C700 middleware should be installed on the ILM server as well as each ILM client station.

For the C200 both the Microsoft Smart Card Base CSP and the C200 minidriver must be installed on the ILM server as well as each ILM client station.

To configure ILM navigate to the "Smart Card Configuration" page of the appropriate template.

1. Log in to the CLM web site with administrator privileges. The CLM site can generally be found at http://yourserver/clm.
2. On the default "Manager Operations" page, click the "Manage Profile Templates" link under the "Administration" section.
3. On the Profile Template List, select the template you want to change. (For example, the "CLM Sample Smart Card Logon Profile Template".)
4. Under Smart Card Configuration, click "Change Settings".
5. For evaluation we recommend the settings as shown below.
