HID in Austin

HID Global’s headquarters and North American operations center has called Austin home since 2015. Approximately 500 employees are based in this state-of-the-art technical hub. The facility features 250,000 square feet of manufacturing, office and warehouse space on 22 acres in North Austin’s Tech Ridge area.

Facility design is devoted to minimizing environmental impact, with the goal of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

It houses the senior executives, regional management, customer service, engineering, operations, human resources, marketing, finance, purchasing and quality functions.
