Our HR Organization:

As a Human Resource function, we help our people be the best version of themselves, offering resources and tools, coaching, learning, and development opportunities.  We work to help employees and teams succeed. 

The HR team has embarked on the journey to build out an HR shared services model supporting employees in over 90 sites across 40+ countries. 


Our Director, Total Rewards supports employees by:

  • Executing the strategic direction of HID Global’s compensation programs in partnership with our parent company, Assa Abloy.
  • Management, administration, and development of Total Rewards programs to support and align with business objectives and strategies.
  • Support, research, evaluation, analysis, implementation, and development of people strategies around talent rewards management.
  • Planning, implementation, and appropriate communication of total rewards programs, including fixed and variable compensation, sales incentives, global position structures, career frameworks, health and wellness benefits, global mobility & immigration, Total Rewards M&A due-diligence & integration, etc.



What we will love about your background:

  • Design and roll-out, in partnership with ASSA ABLOY peers, the global mobility and immigration program to ensure clear understanding and adoption of practices and polices throughout HID.
  • In partnership with global peers, lead the development and maintenance of a job architecture initiative leveraging Mercer data and methodologies.
  • Develop, direct, and manage communication of Total Rewards programs to improve understanding and acceptance of global Company programs.
  • Partner with leaders and HR business partners in day-to-day Total Rewards matters, job evaluations, annual salary review process, off-cycle merit adjustments, new hire, promotion and level adjustment decisions, immigration, etc.
  • Champion and drive the creation of career frameworks across the businesses.
  • Oversee Health and Welfare programs ensuring market competitiveness to provide employees a holistic well-rounded total rewards package.
  • COE support in building standard work products & processes for acquisitions & divestitures.
  • Drive Compensation initiatives and project teams throughout the department.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and agile practices.
  • Work with broader HR team to ensure compliance with respective laws, execute communication and change management plans for updated and newly developed Total Rewards programs.


Who you are as a Leader:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and dive deep into tactical work when necessary.


Your Education and Experience include:           

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CCP or GRP certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resource experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience directly focused on a Total Rewards COE.
  • Strong financial analysis and data management acumen; and skilled at analyzing large data sets and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Working knowledge of legislation as it relates to pay and benefit programs (401(k), health & welfare, etc.)
