We are seeking a driven financial analyst that will be leading day to day activities to support our Operations & Business Excellence Finance team. This role will work closely with the business partners from all functions around overall product costing, financial planning & reporting, and business initiatives

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Financial Analysis, ensuring global standardization and compliance with IFRS/GAAP and Corporate accounting rules, policies, and procedures
  • Performs month end closing activities including P&L and Inventory variance analysis
  • Maintains product costs and performs quarterly cost updates
  • Develop financial estimates on new and proposed products or services as well as recommending cost efficiencies relative to a new product layout
  • Support the quarterly/annual forecast processes including planning for headcount, cost savings, CAPEX investments by business segmentation
  • Perform weekly/monthly financial reporting; including production of financial/operational performance metrics and comparison vs. forecast/plan
  • Prepare financial presentations for operational reviews and other meetings as required
  • Partners with the operational team and drives improvements and efficiencies around cost analysis and “lean” manufacturing processes
  • Actively participate in the analysis around our product profitability, supply chain sourcing, manufacturing capacity and cost savings/working capital initiatives
  • Partners with supply chain on day to day activities and key strategic initiatives, including cost benefit analysis, compiling final recommendations and presenting to management
  • Supports diverse ad hoc analysis requests

  • Naturally curious and inquisitive with the ability to breakdown issues (i.e., simplify & prioritize)

Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years of accounting/finance experience preferred

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system, BI Tools and HFM a plus
