This role serves as a key HR role supporting the Americas HR Operations team and supporting programs to boost engagement and productivity. This role touches multiple aspects of HR including benefits, payroll, recruitment, LOA, HR Policy administration, and HRIS management.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that HR inquiries are answered quickly and resolved or properly routed in a timely manner.
  • Data entry of employee personal data into human resources information/computer system.
  • Review, formulate, and document policies, processes, and administrative directives for effective and efficient program delivery, and assures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Track and report staffing, retention, attrition, and other necessary data to HR or business leadership; recommend programs and/or enhancements, as necessary.
  • Run regular and ad hoc personnel and benefit reports, gather data for regulatory reporting, compliance and audit purposes.
  • Assist in the management and facilitation of employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Maintain personnel files and I-9 documentation including creating new employee folders, following up on any missing paperwork, and filing of all applicable paperwork received by HR. Manage record retention according to laws and best practice.
  • Assist with training including preparing training materials and presentations as needed.
  • Work in an organized and transparent manner that encourages information transfer and communication within the department.
  • Monitor related marketplace trends, conduct research, and make appropriate recommendations that will add value to HID’s programs and practices.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as required.


Education / Experience / Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar role or position with transferrable skills
  • An undergraduate degree in HR or a related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of current issues and market trends related to the activities and operations of assigned area
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be self-motivated and friendly with a passion and proven track record for solving customer service issues in an efficient and effective manner while deescalating issues.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to exercise tact, discretion, poise diplomacy and courtesy with company's personnel, customers, affiliates and representatives outside of the company.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, organization, and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effective manage ambiguity.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS; ADP experience preferred
