Inside Sales Representative – Business Development is an office-based role responsible for developing and acquiring new clients to HID Global and creating opportunities for expansion with our existing customers.


You will conduct outbound prospecting communications and campaigns with HID Customers and prospects executive leadership and stakeholders to provide customer-centric consultative sales on HID Extended Access Technologies (EAT) Products and how they provide value to their business supporting Regional Sales Managers with geographic territories in the USA and Canada. You will also support current active accounts through ongoing communication and sales support maintaining deep client relationships.


What you will be doing?

  • Prospecting directly to Enterprise C-Suite and Key Stakeholders creating new relationships for HID Global EAT product lines through value-added selling techniques
  • Campaign current customers communicating insights regarding their current solutions and engaging in sales cycles for upsell opportunities as applicable to their business goals
  • Support Regional Sales Managers as their inside operations liaison and business development champion
  • Self-define and execute sales, marketing strategies, and plans
  • Manage customer information appropriately in Salesforce CRM
  • Direct quoting of customers and channel partners via CRM tools
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams supporting sales
  • Plan and conduct presentation of HID Solutions to customers via phone and web conferencing
  • Continuous learning of HID Global technology  
  • Log activity in Salesforce CRM to meet activity metrics


What is needed of you?

  • Effective selling skills, up to date telecommunication and cold call skills, as well as good interpersonal skills; formal sales training such as Sandler, Challenger, Spin, ForceMangement or others a plus
  • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Professional appearance and presentation


Who you are:

  • Associate degree (or better), or equivalent training and experience in sales, business, or customer service organization
  • Minimum 3 years’ business development experience in technology related sales, inside sales, or account management
  • Proven and documented history of achievement meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience with large enterprise accounts is an advantage
  • Experience in supporting direct OEM accounts is an advantage
  • CRM experience; ideally with Salesforce
