HID Global is searching for a Marketo and Salesforce administrator who will be a core member of the IT Sales Applications team. You’ll be a dual administrator of both systems so that you can execute on programs, campaigns, integrations while being involved in all aspects of the process from large program implementations to integration troubleshooting. As the Marketo and Salesforce Administrator, you should think of this position as the glue between the lead generation and sales handoff and execution, with the result of empowering the customer journey through technology. The role requires exercise of discretion and independent judgement in evaluation of user requests/requirements, architecting, determining and implementing an optimum approach/solution and related documentation by applying system analysis techniques and procedures. You should have experience in utilizing the latest marketing automation technologies as well as using the Salesforce platform to perform configuration and data changes. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Marketing leaders, Sales Operations Super users, Engineering, Change Management and other internal business teams.

Marketo Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain the Marketo-Salesforce sync behavior.
  • Thoroughly understand the Marketo security model and how to
  • Manage technical aspects of Marketo Engagement Programs, 3rd-party Integrations, and Lead Scoring.
  • Deep knowledge of how-to setup, administrator, and monitor complex nurture programs, SMART Campaigns, and Progressive Profiling.
  • Understand how lead scoring, engagement programs, and revenue model will end up in the reporting structure.
  • Work closely with in-house Marketing Front-End Developers to deliver and maintain custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Landing Pages.
  • Understand how to utilize Marketo Web Hooks and know which situations to deploy them.

Salesforce Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide user provisioning, documentation, business workflow rules, profiles, role hierarchy, and user support.
  • Responsible for SFDC Administration including object customization, implement new fields, page layouts, workflow rules, process builders, etc.
  • Diagnose problems and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce customization and workflows.
  • Work closely with in-house Salesforce Architects and Salesforce Development team to support our Sales, Service, and Community Cloud Implementations.
  • Ensure all development is thoroughly documented, go through the proper testing processes, and meet high level design requirements, security requirements, etc.

  • Ability to be engage in various levels of application development including interaction with product managers/end users for requirement analysis, system analysis and design, system testing, and integration, implementation and documentation required
  • Experience in Agile Scrum delivery framework preferred
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
  • Experience in building relationships with people at a variety of levels

Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of years in both Marketo and Salesforce administration, development, or security.
  • At least 5 years of specific experience related to analysis, development, testing, or equivalent experience.
  • Require at least one (1) of either Marketo Certified Professional or Salesforce Certified Administrator Certifications.
  • Preferred: Both Marketo Certified Professional and Salesforce Certified Administrator Certifications. Previous experience working in service ticketing systems like Jira, Zendesk, or ServiceNOW.

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.              

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Marketo Nurture Programs, Lead Scoring Programs, Marketo Sync, and Marketo Forms, Trigger and Batch Campaigns.
  • Experience in markup languages such as HTML, CSS in both emails and landing pages.
