Our Pricing Analyst is to be detailed-orientated with strong analytical and Business Intelligence skills. This position will have responsibilities for the day-to-day pricing projects, process improvement, and analytics and metric development for multiple business units.  The Pricing Analyst will help develop dashboard reporting, pricing model design and execution, development of impact analysis tools, day to day operations support as needed. The Pricing Team works closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance and other functional teams related to strategic pricing administration.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage and Execute approved Pricing Projects
  • Develop, Maintain and deploy Software Pricing Model(s)
  • Execute annual price management cycle.
  • Develops reports and analysis
  • Document and maintain global pricing process and workflows.
  • Assists with training sales, PM’s, Finance and other business partners on Pricing tools, policies, and procedures. Document and maintain global pricing process and workflows.
  • Conducts trainings and workshops for sales, PM’s, Finance and other business partners on Pricing models, tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform quantitative analysis and provide recommendations and consultative support to area and regional Sales Leaders to achieve desired goals.
  • Supports business needs with the development of tools and methods that will result in more accurate customer profitability assessment and decision-making.
  • Follows all management approved processes and procedures; alerts management when circumstances require deviation to the approved processes and procedures.
  • Modeling of Pricing Programs/Revenue impact.
  • Identify, Track and Analyze Project Based Pricing Deals.
  • ERP/Systems Enhancement process documentation, testing and verification.
  • Day-to-day building and support of pricing, on company platforms; i.e. salesforce and Oracle
  • Provide operational pricing support for the complex pricing requests, i.e. regional modifiers, currency exchange, Global Accounts, as defined by the business.
  • Provide expertise in data visualization and related design techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Provide input and support for upgrades, capacity planning, and best practices.
  • Strong experience in user testing and project management.
  • Interact with the business to identify, capture and analyze business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and work with cross-functional teams

  • Expert Microsoft Excel Skills

  • Ability to read, document and maintain complex process mapping, diagrams and desk procedures
  • Comfortable driving change a collaborative team environment. Data management and database management experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills required with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and deliver to fluid deadlines.

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization, including Executive, management and individual contributors.
  • Familiar with Salesforce and Cubeware

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years Pricing Administration Experience preferred.
  • Preferred Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Business (or work experience equivalent to the knowledge obtained in one of these fields).

Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to construct succinct and efficient executive level communication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
