We are seeking a driven senior financial analyst who will be a key business partner for our Operations & Business Excellence team, working closely with them on planning, analysis and execution.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner with the operations team on day to day activities and initiatives
  • Provide financial insight to teams in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving the financial commitments, including proactively establishing insightful analytics, and developing the right operational processes that enable groups to “see around the corner” and support cross functional alignment
  • Lead inventory related responsibilities around gross inventory, provisions, aging and material throughput time, including driving discussions with the operations and business area teams, and making recommendations as appropriate 
  • Analyze product costs, and compile outputs and recommendations 
  • Support the quarterly/annual forecast processes
  • Perform month end closing activities and conduct variance analysis as part of the monthly performance review
  • Analyze and publish key performance indicators vs. targets 
  • Lead guidance and support for all acquisitions, including integration into Oracle
  • Prepare financial presentations for operational reviews and other executive meetings 
  • Work closely with other members of the HID Global Finance & Accounting teams to ensure understanding, alignment and communication of the financial impacts of business activities and decisions
  • Ensure global standardization and compliance with published Corporate, and IFRS/GAAP rules, policies, and procedures
  • Supports ad hoc requests

 

Education and/or Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Ability to Drive for Results
  • Able to successfully work in a Global environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team

 

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive communicator

 

Computer Skills     

  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
  • Working knowledge of HFM
  • Proficiency with MS applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., with advanced Excel skills required

 

 Work Environment

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.                   

              

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
