As HID Global continues its expansion into Brazil Market, we are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic, energetic, and high-performing Business Development Manager. This Individual contributor candidate will be responsible for growing the business with focus on new customer acquisition and new market development.

 

What you will be doing

  • Seek out and source new clients by independently identifying, developing, and networking with relevant resources for sales and business development.
  • Assess new verticals for the sales organization in LAM to identify what problems EAT technology could solve and how
  • Stress tests these opportunities by engaging with key stakeholders / buyers within these verticals to identify level of potential success 
  • Based on identified opportunities, together with relevant sales colleagues drive end-to-end sales cycles including further lead generation, lead qualification, sales presentations, technology demonstrations, running simulations and evaluations on client site, commercial proposal submissions and contract negotiations leading to revenue generation and growth  
  • Scope go-to-market strategies and support pilot efforts for new business initiatives.
  • Become an expert in the portfolio of Extended Access Technology (EAT) products and services to effectively represent HID in the assigned market.
  • Serve as a customer’s advocate and trusted advisor maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and protect the strategic interests of both the company and customer’s sides.
  • Maintain timely and accurate data on customer accounts and other information on the company databases and systems. Learn and apply the established procedures for Sales cycle and Upper Management reports.

What we are looking for

  • Extensive sales experience, preferably in the Critical Infrastructure Market and Public Sector with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Has strong relationships with Government decision makers, influencers, and program managers in key target verticals (mentioned above) to become highly familiar with the agency's requirements
  • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short and long-term tasks and project assignments on time. Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Creative thinker and should possess ability to resolve critical problems with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proven track record of building strong end-user relationships, with the ability to gather market intelligence to clearly understand customer needs and then advocate solutions that clearly meet or exceed them.

Who you are

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Business Development.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge in Identity & Security Market like Biometric Authentication, Facial Recognition and Secure Credentials (RFID).
  • Experience qualifying and selling technology solutions to public and private sectors in Brazil.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English language verbally and in writing; Spanish is a plus.
