HID Global is looking to for a Channel Marketing Manager to build and maintain strong relationships and custom campaigns with our business partners. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales and Product teams to develop marketing tools to enable partners to better promote and sell Secure Issuance products. This role involves equal parts account management and creativity – meaning the ideal candidate has excellent customer-facing skills paired with the know-how required to execute high-impact marketing campaigns. Travel to a variety of account meetings, events, and tradeshows is also required.

This position will report to the Director of Marketing Communications, SI and will work in partnership with multiple disciplines across a highly matrixed organization and will partner with multiple functions to drive business results. This is an exciting, fast-paced position with the opportunity to work on the full breadth of marketing activities at one time. A self-starter with marketing communications and integrated digital marketing experience would be ideally suited to this position.

What you will be doing

  • Understand the partners’ business objectives, go-to-market approach, and channel and use this insight to build and execute a joint partnership strategy
  • Develop integrated and comprehensive marketing plans with Partner account teams in support of key channel sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive collaboration with partners' marketing counterparts to plan, develop and execute agreed upon marketing and communications projects
  • Regularly meet with sales, partners and partner management to understand impact on current business and market trends and to ensure that programs meet their needs
  • Provide timely and relevant channel-enablement communications, promotions and education for new product launches
  • Report impact of Channel Marketing activities, including determined KPIs and ROI
  • Use internal and external customer feedback and performance data to optimize marketing mix and budget

What we are looking for    

  • University degree in marketing, communications, or related area (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B Marketing Communications / Channel Marketing
  • Experience working in the secure identity industry a plus
  • Prior experience in B2B Channel Marketing / Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing automation, Web content management, analytics, and business intelligence (reporting and analysis tools)
  • Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated strong listening, information gathering and empathy skills for uncovering and defining deliverables, needs and outcomes
  • Team player with cross-functional project leadership skills
  • Demonstrated skills in positioning and differentiating products and services
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • History of responsible budget management
