The Role

HID is seeking an HR Business Partner who will provide dedicated support to a Business Unit (“BU”) and/or Functional executive leader and their team. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to enable business achievement, growth, and scalability.

What will you do? 

  • Partner with the head of the Business Unit ("BU") or Function as well as its Leadership team to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives
  • Understand client group strategic priorities and business imperatives and tailor HR solutions to meet those needs.
  • Understand the business and its global challenges to help address talent need
  • Proactively assess team and employee and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Manage and facilitate talent strategy, organizational design, coaching, and team building that support change and growth
  • Serve as consultant and advisor managing processes related to employee engagement, performance management, talent assessments, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and HR Operations teams to implement solutions for a scaling business
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback to managers and individual contributors
  • Provide data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
  • Attend, and potentially facilitate, team and offsite meetings as needed

Minimum Qualification

  • 5+ years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
  • 8+ years professional experience (organization size 1,000+)
  • Demonstrated project management/change management experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership experience

Preferred Qualification

  • BA/BS degree or HR specific certification (3+ years)
  • Experience helping global organizations scale
  • Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment
  • Experience working in technology industry
