Summary

HID is looking for a Senior Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing/ closing business within Banking Sector Major accounts. The candidate will have proven track record in the IT security environment and Finance Vertical market.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Generating business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closing.

• Build a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and forecast pipeline accuracy.

• Financial Service Vertical sales experience with an actionable preferred rolodex of decision makers in Bank & Finance.

• Maintaining and developing Strategic partnerships

• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans

• Handle and develop new businesses independently

• Experience working with direct end users as well as partners and understanding of both direct and channel centric go to market approach. Needs direct touch experience

• Ensure leads and opportunities are tracked within Sales Force.com (SFDC)

• Setting up Gap Plans and Strategic Initiatives in SFDC

• 10 years’ sales experience in closing deals in the Financial Service area for IT vendors, IT Sec sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus.

• A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability

• Excellent communication and presentation skills among a variety of audiences

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Self-motivated and well organized

Education and/or Experience

• BS/BA or equivalent industry experience

• Good understanding of IT Security landscape

• Proven ability to sell to large and international organizations

• Passion for sales and winning new business

 

Language Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

• German, French or Spanish - welcomed

Computer Skills

• Ability to create presentation materials to deliver messaging on new corporate initiatives and services.

Work Requirements

• Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.

• Travel and fieldwork including international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
