Customer Service Export Coordinator (HID5491)

Summary

Responsible to develop, implement and manage processes, procedures and training to ensure compliance with export regulations in EMEA region whilst managing and advocating for Customer Experience & OTD performance. Key stake holder for Customer service engagement with Compliance strategy, ensuring trade requirements are known and processes adapted to ensure business & customer relevance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensuring smooth operation of Customer collected shipment process.
  • Facilitate execution between the Customer, Freight forwarder, Operations & Trade & compliance teams.
  • Key stakeholder for on time delivery to Customers; reducing impact to OTD; root cause customer own carrier / export requirements.
  • Driving daily meetings to report requirements & progress.
  • Key stakeholder in evolution of export trade rules; Attending relevant training and liaising with Chamber of commerce, Trade & Compliance and HID Partners to understand & adapt to requirements in region whilst advocating for Customer Experience.
  • Ensuring GBU’s are well informed of requirements to trade in region.
  • Key stakeholder for ‘Go to market’ strategy for new territory engagements.
  • Create and Maintain eBOK for EMEA ( Export Body of Knowledge).

 

Candidate requirements;

  • Previous experience or knowledge in Logistics (Air, Sea and Road), with key focus on Export out of EU.
  • Excellence in time management and forward planning.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic personality with a Customer Centric mind set.
  • Team player and good communicator; able to demonstrate ownership and drive improvement.

 

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. Other languages an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret export documentation and requirements.

 

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Oracle an advantage.
  • Salesforce case management an advantage.

 

Customer Expectations

  • Manage the process for Export ensuring cadence in process for export, reducing the impact to on time delivery performance and ensuring consistency in customer experience.

 

Work Environment

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, with in a well ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.

  Work Requirements

  • Travel and fieldwork may include international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
