Customer Service RMA Co-Ordinator (REQ-654)



Location: Galway



You will be responsible for creation of RMA sales orders and credit notes upon request, and assisting other HID departments with RMA issues.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Create RMA sales and replacement orders / sample orders / credit notes / invoices / TTPs upon request, in accordance with HID policy and procedures;
  • Liaise with other HID departments relevant to RMA and / or quality matters;
  • Assist other departments with any RMA issues;
  • Identify the RMA quality status for record keeping / data entry in cooperation with the quality department;
  • Work with the CS and Quality department(s) to investigate root causes / trends of deficiencies that are causing RMAs and customer complaints;
  • Liaise with customers as required;
  • Assist in the development of quality systems, as required;
  • Maintain and update accurate records of RMAs including updates on Salesforce as appropriate.




Market Knowledge:

  • No specific market knowledge is required.  However a good level of experience in an administration role is essential.

Education and/or Experience


  • Previous experience in an RMA role, a quality role or in a production environment;
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would be beneficial.


Language Skills


  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally, and in writing;
  • Ability to read and interpret process documentation, work instructions, specifications, etc.


Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Oracle, Salesforce, Test track Pro, Agile.


Work Environment

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • CS EMEA department Galway.




Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures relating to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity and Environmental systems.
  • Travel  and  field  work  may  include  international  travel,  therefore  employee  must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
