Product Owner (HID-721)

You will be part of the team working on ASSA ABLOY Seos technology and will contribute to innovation, creation and enablement of this technology into smart, secure, embedded devices and ecosystems.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the product backlog,
  • Define goals and create vision for projects,
  • Drive iteration goals and iteration content via prioritized stories,
  • Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap,
  • Understand and anticipate client needs,
  • Prioritize backlog and projects based on technology strategy and business objectives,
  • Align with stakeholders on technology strategy and business objective,
  • Identify synergies and establish collaboration with HID Business Units and ASSA ABLOY Groups.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master is beneficial but not required),
  • Provable knowledge and experience in agile methodologies (Hands-on experience and a certificate in any of: Scrum and Safe, Kanban, Lean, etc., are required),
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in role with direct contact with clients on product/technical topics,
  • Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management,
  • Experience with Secure Element, HSM, Secure API, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar),
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security practices,
  • Experience with Security Evaluation/Certification process.

Language and Personal Skills:                  

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability,
  • Able to detect unspoken frictions between team members,
  • Able to recognize small wins by helping the team deliver without being in command or control,
  • Good facilitation/negotiation skills.
