Product Owner

The Extended Access Technologies business area is a leading provider of Identity and Access Management through embedded and software solutions to assist many customers who want to embed RFID technology into their solutions. We enable our partners to secure people, data and things through trusted identities, RFID and Bluetooth technologies. Our offerings encompass multi-factor authentication, tokens and credential lifecycle management, security clients in endpoints, and biometric solutions. All backed up by a professional services capability. Extended Access Technology has prime engineering centres in Krakow, Albuquerque and Taipei, with additional resources in Cardiff and in many geographies to support our customers.

In our office in Krakow, we set up development teams responsible for an entire product portfolio in the Smartcard reader area. We currently seek to recruit a Product Owner with hands-on experience in software/hardware development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Team Backlog,
  • Review and reprioritize the Team Backlog, including coordination of dependencies with other Product Owners and Product Managers,
  • Provide the clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and implementation,
  • Review and accept stories during team demo meetings,
  • Work across teams to define and implement improvement stories,
  • Refine Program Backlog as an active member of POs/PMs team,
  • Support to prepare and drive System Demos and Program Increment Planning,
  • Understand and anticipate stakeholders needs,
  • Align with stakeholders and Product Managers on technology strategy and business objective.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master is beneficial but not required),
  • Proven knowledge and experience in agile methodologies (Hands-on experience and a certificate in any of: Scrum and Safe®, Kanban, Lean etc., are required),
  • SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe® PMPO) certificate is a strong advantage,
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in role with direct contact with clients on product/technical topics,
  • Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.,
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability,
  • Good facilitation/negotiation skills,
  • Knowledge of IoT solutions highly desired,
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security practices (nice to have).
