The Position:

In our office in Krakow, we have a development team responsible for an entire product portfolio in the Smartcard reader area, co-located with other teams also present in this engineering center. We currently seek to recruit a Coud Engineer for the Tools team. An ideal candidate should have open mind set, be flexible and focused on quality. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Designing architecture of services and software modules, implementing and integrating them with other components of the system
  • Interfacing with other teams in the organization, and ensuring integration and effective delivery of products
  • Participating in the evolution of the system architecture
  • Reviewing software architecture document & software specifications
  • Following best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan
  • Create cloud provider agnostic system designs
  • Create scalable deployment models for high service level agreements (blue/green, backup, multi-location)
  • Formal API design following relevant standards and using respective tools


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and at least 5 years of good quality, hands on development
  • Expertise in programming language such as Java, Node JS, C#
  • Expertise in domain driven design, test driven development & understanding of micro-services concepts
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Skills for developing, deploying & debugging cloud native applications
  • Skills in API design, usage, command line interface and SDKs for writing applications
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and familiarity in container orchestration solutions
  • Ability to work at the system architecture level in multiple areas of the system
  • Knowledge of cryptography and end-to-end security principle
  • Knowledge and practical skills around AWS services portfolio
  • Advanced knowledge and practical experience in various operating systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
