You will join the Inside Sales team in North America with a focus on Public Sector customers working together within a dynamic and talented sales organization. Your role will be dedicated to maximizing and expanding EAT Public Sector Biometrics sales opportunities with a focus on hardware and software maintenance renewals and consumable item sales. You will conduct outbound communications and campaigns with HID Customers, strategic business alliances, leads and prospects to provide consistent product knowledge expertise for HID Extended Access Technologies Biometric products and solutions.

You will be responsible for the creation of maintenance renewal and consumable quotes and proposals and associated opportunity tracking in accordance with established guidance.  This role also serves as an intracompany liaison working with finance, order management and customer care to answer customer questions and resolve customer satisfaction issues.  You will receive and process inbound communications related to HID offerings and manage relationships with customers and contacts making use of the Salesforce tools supporting all Public Sector Biometrics customers in North America.
 

What you will be doing

  • Take responsibility for and become a champion of EAT Public Sector Biometrics products and services providing sales support across the sales team.
  • Drive the hardware and software maintenance renewal and consumable inside sales process and pursuit.  Maximize revenue through prospecting, qualifying, closing and booking maintenance sales and consumables to existing customers.
  • Assist the sales team with large enterprise renewal opportunities.
  • Set up new customer accounts, manage account update in Salesforce, ensure all documents are compliant to internal requirements. Directly solicit for new account information and discuss commercial terms with customers.
  • Provide quotations, review and screen Purchase Orders and champion priorities with HID Sales and Operations organizations.  
  • Provide updates to customers about delivery schedules through communication with Operations and Order Management.
  • Set up Pricing and Special Quotes in Salesforce. Coordinate with customers and sales team to ensure all information is precise and accurate for management approval. 
  • Assist the sales team with Salesforce and Oracle CPQ errors.
  • Oversee the management of the Oracle install base.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations and Finance for supporting sales orders and demo orders.
  • Liaise with internal support teams on satisfying special customer requirements on Purchase Orders.
  • Qualify and follow through on leads to identify opportunities.
  • Provide complete and professional communications to customers and internal sales team via phone and email while maintaining these results and action items through Salesforce.
  • Continuous learning of product enhancements. Communicate product updates to customers, including End of Life (EOL), new technology introduction, and product change notices.
  • Participate as key member partnering with the external sales team to provide exemplary customer service and maximize team efficiency and revenue opportunities.

What we are looking for    

  • Ability to perform as a productive member of an inside sales team in pursuit of revenue goals.
  • Effective selling skills, up to date telecommunication and cold call skills, as well as good interpersonal skills.
  • Effective and proven contact management database skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Must demonstrate a customer-focused mentality.
  • Minimal requirement for travel.

Who you are

  • Associate degree (or better) or equivalent training and experience in sales, or customer service organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, tele-sales, inside sales, sales assistant or account management. Experience in supporting direct customer accounts is an advantage.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Web based tools such as SalesForce and Oracle.
  • Technology background and/or ability to learn new technologies considered a plus.
