The Product Management (PM) Admin is the right hand of Product Managers when it comes to supporting them with data, serving both decision maker and reporting.

In addition, the PM Admin handles autonomously certain aspects of the business, such as traded products and accessories representing millions of USD per year, in liaison with the relevant product managers.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oracle & Salesforce part management

Supports Product Managers worldwide in ensuring business systems such as Oracle and Salesforce reflect the latest status for all part numbers from creation to deactivation. This is particularly mission critical for biometric hardware devices. This may require to frequently liaise with other department such as Finance, Operations or Engineering.

  • Customer computers & jump kits management business support

Manages laptops, tablets and desktop computers and associated part numbers and price lists in synchronization with the Product Managers. This includes anticipating and then managing part creation, obsolescence, price lists, for both the hardware and software sides, whether manufactured by HID Global or procured from 3rd parties.

The PM Admin will also support sales requests related to the above.

  • Product Marketing support for events demos & demo rooms

Handle hardware device and associated software provision to the events to which HID CID attends. This includes defining the needs with Product Managers, and then ensuring the defined combination of devices and software are delivered to the event booth. This comprises the complete management of the logistics aspects, and liaison with other CID departments when required such as Product Marketing, MarCom, Legal for instance.

  • Product Managers support
  1. Tiger teams

From times to times, task forces or “tiger teams” are created to address business opportunities or regional strategies. Product Management is usually supporting such activities and the PM Admin would be involved in tasks related to logistics, part numbers, price lists amongst others.

  1. PIP process

Support the Product Managers when following the Product Innovation Process (stage-gate process). This requires ensuring the right set of documents has been provided by the Product Managers for each gate review, creating the necessary pages in Oracle agile as well as gate review requests if applicable.

  1. KPI computation

Help Product Managers in the computation of KPIs, which require extracts from various Finance tools, Salesforce and Oracle, on a monthly and/or quarterly basis.

  1. Sales support

Be the first point of contact for questions from Sales related to part numbers, certification, 3rd party accessories, End-Of-Life and what is in the product matrices.

Education and/or Experience          

  • College degree with focus on business preferred
  • Experience working with accounting systems preferred


Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, certification reports, etc. written in English language             


Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Very familiar with business systems, and notably Oracle and Salesforce
  • Ability to gather financial data from various systems, perform integrity check, aggregate and summarize results in a document understandable by non-financial people
  • Familiar with computer operating systems, such as Windows, etc.


Internal & external customer expectations

  • Ability to support Sales within the timeframe required, while ensuring the latter is reasonable enough to provide quality answers
  • Ideally very familiar with biometric hardware devices and product sales
  • Flexibility and oriented towards solution findings when facing difficulties
  • Proactive attitude in analyzing where optimization is possible, applied for instance to our internal processes, relationship with Sales or service to customers

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel may not be required very often, nevertheless the role may require infrequent travel within the USA. It is preferred if employee possesses or can acquire a valid passport to attend HID global team meetings and trainings
