You will be a key contributor in a dynamic and rapidly growing business segment. 

Channel Account Manager is a home office-based role located in the region of Greenville, SC metro area responsible for developing and growing the Key Distribution accounts of BlueStar USA, SYNNEX and ScanSource for HID Global Extended Access Technologies products.

You will lead channel marketing program activities with the sales and product management teams to drive business growth in the key distribution accounts assigned. You are responsible for the development and execution of deliverables to ensure success in achieving channel growth goals. You will work closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights. You will analyze and report business date to support channel programs.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and strengthen relationships at key distributors to capitalize on sales and services synergies, leverage operational efficiencies and assure profitable partnerships
  • Coordinate distributor competency development, resource utilization and program execution
  • Support HID Global North America Regional Sales Managers as their channel operations liaison and business development champion
  • Self-define and execute sales, marketing strategies, and plans
  • Add support downstream reseller network as needed
  • Manage information appropriately in Salesforce CRM
  • Direct quoting of customers and channel partners via CRM tools
  • Plan and conduct presentation of HID Solutions to partner sales teams and customers via phone, web conferencing and in person
  • Continuous learning of HID Global technology  
  • Log activity in Salesforce CRM to meet activity metrics

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or better), or equivalent training and experience in technology sales, business, or customer service organization
  • Minimum 3 years’ business development experience in technology related sales, channel management, distribution management or similar position
  • Proven and documented history of achievement meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience with large national distribution accounts is an advantage
  • CRM experience; ideally with Salesforce

Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Web based tools or CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Ability to learn new technologies considered a must

  • Employee environment will be split between a home office and distributor offices

•     The home office must be a well-defined work area, separate from normal domestic activity and complete with all essential technology including, but not limited to; separate phone, scanner, printer, computer, etc. as required in order to effectively perform their duties.

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Tradeshow support as necessary
  • Total travel not to exceed 25-40% of responsibilities
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired
