As HID Global continues its expansion into South America, we are looking to hire a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the South America Market. The Regional Manager-South America will be responsible for pipeline management, sales forecasts, managing existing customer relationships and Developing and implementing effective sales plans across the region to create new customer growth as well as to develop and manage multiple distributors, integrators, and end users.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Extensive sales experience, preferably in the banking technology sector, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Achieve and exceed region’s monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives and profit goals.
  • Become an expert in the portfolio of Extended Access Technology (EAT) products and services to effectively represent HID in the assigned region.
  • Manage and be accountable for the sales target assigned to the region.
  • Ensure Best in Class service to our customers and partners in the territory.
  • Maintain the sales forecast & communicate with other departments internally – Operations, Product Management & Engineering to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis to expand business with existing customers as well as prospect and develop new customers consisting of channel partners and end users.
  • Identify and recommend sales solutions in new and existing markets and increase market share in established markets to close opportunities.
  • Maintain timely and accurate information on customer accounts in company databases and systems (Salesforce).



  • Sales and business development experience in South America, preference in Technology Banking Industry.
  • Proven track record of building strong end customer and channel relationships with the ability to gather market intelligence to clearly understand customer needs and then advocate solutions that clearly meet or exceed the needs. Must have the ability to work with and deal with various languages and cultures.
  • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short and long-term tasks and project assignments on time. Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Creative thinker and should possess ability to resolve critical problems with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Should have ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business


Education and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales management and key account management
  • Bachelor's Degree – Engineering or Computer Science
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience qualifying and selling technology solutions to companies located in South America.


Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English language verbally and in writing.


Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ensure proper utilization of CRM, with respect to the timely updates of opportunities, business activities, and relevant customer data.


Work Requirement

  • Travel and fieldwork include international travel; therefore, employee must possess or can acquire a valid Passport.
