The Position:

Do you have a passion for helping customers be as productive as possible? This new role will incubate a new function within Secure Issuance, responsible for the formation and execution of service offerings for the Business Units within the Secure Issuance Business Area for HID Global.

This role will be equal parts strategic and tactical, so the right candidate will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to make progress.

You will be working to validate the strategic vision for the Services team and building a plan to enact the strategy.

You will be responsible for performing services for customers, engaging directly to solve problems and positively influence their perspective of our company.

As well as participating in the new product introduction process, vocalizing the needs of external and internal customers from a services perspective.  While working to identify the persona ideally fit for Services team members, creating job descriptions, and hiring employees when / if appropriate.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage well with customers via all communications methods as well as being able to triage problems and identify resolution methods quickly and thoroughly.

Key skills for this role include strong communication, organizational, and people management skills. While also being technically minded with an eye for continuous improvement. Having an electromechanical understanding is desirable.

You should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in international field service support. As well as process development improvement experience and international, cross-cultural business experience.

The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years people management experience.
