Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • HR point of contact for employees at site.
  • Responsible for day to day HR tasks and support implementation of HR programs/projects at the site.
  • Support managers in the implementation and application of HR procedures such as disciplinary and grievance, performance management, absence management, etc.
  • Effectively Partner and provide guidance to local leadership, employees, and internal HR partners
  • Liaise with Occupational Health to ensure health related risks are minimised to the business
  • Manage recruitment activity, working closely with managers and third parties
  • Support employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Support with the identification of development needs
  • Support and champion HR cycle processes, e.g. Pay Review, Talent Review, contributing to continual improvement of all HR processes.
  • Support reward activity e.g. Job Evaluation, Recognition and HR Systems
  • Support a culture of employee engagement in line with the HR strategy, assisting activities such as Employee Survey action planning
  • Support internal communication messaging, ensuring it is tailored to team requirements
  • Always act and behave in a way compliant with all HID Global company guidelines and policies.



  • Experience in dealing with all aspects of HR practice including grievances and disciplinary procedures, absence management, consultation, employee relations issues, recruitment and selection, training, compensation and benefits and talent management.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level in order to develop stakeholder relationships
  • Good understanding of relevant employment legislation
  • Able to manage change with drive for continuous improvement


Education and/or Experience          

  • Degree level education or equivalent preferred


Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.


Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Familiarity in working within HRIS and ATS systems (Examples include ADP, Success Factors, etc.)


Work Environment

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.


Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport. Travel will be less than 5- 10% of the time.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Malta.
