HID® Janam™ GT1 Self-Credentialing Kiosk Reader
Whether attending an event, boarding an airplane, picking up a prescription, bringing a child to the emergency room, purchasing a bottle of wine, or going into the office, the speed of verifying credentials is directly related to the quality of the experience. Janam’s GT1 self-credentialing kiosk is an easy-to-use mobile wallet reader designed to help organizations in healthcare, hospitality, retail, ticketing and transportation industries safely and swiftly verify information from their patrons, customers, staff and guests.
Equipped with state-of-the-art data capture technology, GT1 easily and affordably converts a new or existing Janam XT3 rugged touch computer into a contactless, self-credentialing solution to enable businesses to share information and interact with customers in more meaningful ways. In addition to robust scanning of barcodes and QR codes on both paper credentials and smartphone screens, GT1 supports the most advanced tap-and-go NFC features of Apple Wallet and Google Pay, enabling error-free verification of credentials in just seconds. Support for automatic pass selection eliminates the need for users to unlock their phones and scroll through their digital wallet to find the right pass. Users simply tap their iPhone or Android-powered smartphone on the surface of GT1 and integrated proximity-based NFC technology reads the pass, enabling frictionless entry for hundreds of people in minutes.
Available in counter-top and wall-mounted formats, GT1 effortlessly moves individuals through the identification process — eliminating the challenges often associated with employee ID and healthcare verification, retail loyalty programs, age verification, ticketing, boarding and check-in. It also provides businesses of all types and sizes the ability to verify vaccination status or COVID-19 test results to speed entry and help to protect employees and guests.
