OCR316-E is a highly compact USB OCR reader that delivers fast, accurate bidirectional reading of machine-readable passports, visas, US and international resident permits and national ID cards.

The device also integrates a three-track magnetic swipe reader (MSR) to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards and frequent flyer cards.

The track length and single slot design are optimized to ensure that passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistency and accuracy.
