HID® pivCLASS® Data Import

Extraction of credential information – synchronize data between PACS head-ends and mobile handhelds
software codebench pivclass import

HID Global’s pivCLASS Data Import is a software application that enables synchronization of data between a PACS head-end database and a mobile handheld card reader. Data Import software enables the extraction of credential information residing in a PACS head-end database (e.g., photos, names, PACS card numbers, access rights, TWIC privacy keys, user-defined cardholder information) to be pushed to the mobile handheld for display to the operator.

When a change is made in the PACS head-end database, Data Import detects the change and updates the pivCLASS PACS Service database. These updates are then pushed to the mobile handhelds during the next mobile device data synchronization.

This software is designed for use with the pivCLASS Mobile Validator software.

Key Features:

  • Supports multiple PACS head-end databases
  • Enables handheld operators to verify a cardholder is registered in the PACS
  • Enables operators to make access decisions based on PACS established access rights
