Specifications

HID Global’s pivCLASS Mobile Registration Engine is a handheld software application that harvests credential data from FIPS-201 cards, executes one-, two- or three-factor strong authentication and then provisions these credentials into a PACS head-end database.

Key Features:

  • Supports revocation checking using Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) and TWIC Canceled Card List (CCL)
  • Supports provisioning into over 30 different PACS head-end products
  • Enables assignment of access rights as part of the registration process
  • Enables a FIPS-201 card to be linked to an existing DESFire card during the registration process

pivCLASS Mobile Validation Software supports the following mobile handheld readers:

  • Datastrip mobile biometric handheld readers
