  1. Set up your online accounts with HID Global Sign up to the Technical Support Customer Portal for access to view and update Cases online (non-ActivID products only). For ActivID products, go to the ActivID Support Portal. Don't forget to also sign up for the Advantage Partner Program for access to the HID Advantage Partner Portal. Contact your sales representative for more information.
  2. Technical Bulletins Once on the Partner Portal, look for the monthly Technical Bulletins under the Technical Updates classification in the Resource Library.
  3. Understand HID Technical Support Familiarize yourself with the HID Technical Support Handbook for a full list of the Support offerings, Policies, and Procedures surrounding Technical Support at HID.
  4. Take a Training Course with Genuine HID Academy Genuine HID Academy offers a full range of courses across every product segment. The more education you have, the better your experience will be with HID products and services.
  5. Download the latest drivers Get the latest HID drivers, firmware, and related files at the Drivers and Downloads page.
  6. Review the relevant product documents The Document Library contains product documentation, support and service information, and marketing and sales information about your HID products.
  7. Familiarize yourself with the Knowledge Base The Knowledge Base contains a wealth of technical answers for our most commonly asked questions.
  8. Engage with the HID Professional Services team The HID Professional Services team offers a variety of services ranging from strategic consultations and solution design to implementation and custom training. Engage with our Professional Services team early if you require consultative or deployment assistance.
