Signo readers also feature HID's Secure Identity Object (SIO) for trusted authentication and include velocity checking to protect against brute force attacks. These comprehensive protections make Signo ideal for high-security environments.

Multi-technology readers can process multiple credential types, supporting both legacy proximity cards and modern smart cards.
