Martin Huddart

Senior Vice President and Head of Physical Access Control Solutions

Martin Huddart joined ASSA ABLOY in 2007 as Vice President of Electronic Access Control. From there he became Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Architectural Hardware Group, then President of Access and Egress Hardware, and then Head of Smart Residential. He became Senior Vice President and Head of the Physical Access Control Solutions business area in HID in 2022. Prior to joining ASSA ABLOY, Martin spent 11 years leading various electronic security business units of Ingersoll-Rand (now Allegion). Martin has served as Chairman of the International Biometric Industry Association and recently served a term on the board of the Security Industry Association. Martin holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Production Engineering from The University of Manchester, as well as an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
