Specifications

The EDGE EVO Hi-O Interface Modules provide door and extended IO interface between discrete IO and an EDGE EVO Controller. The interface modules provide a securely located IO interface to door components such as locks, door position inputs and REX inputs.

The modules also enable the expansion of IO monitoring and control, all connected back to one single-door controller with the potential to power everything over PoE. The modules include models EDWM-M, EDM-M, EWM-M, EIM-M, ELM and EVM.

Additional highlights:

  • EDWM-M Door/Wiegand Module, provides four inputs, two outputs and Wiegand/Clock-and-Data reader interface.
  • EDM-M Door Module provides interface of up to four inputs and two outputs (for door specific use or general purpose).
  • EIM-M Input Module provides interface of up to four inputs.
  • EWM-M Wiegand Module provides interface with one Wiegand or Clock-and-Data reader.
  • ELM Lock module provides interface to a single lock / AUX output.

Modules come in one of six types; maximum two of each can be connected to any one EDGE EVO controller or reader/controller.

EDWM-M

  • Part #: 82363AKM
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) Hi-O CANbus to 4 inputs, 2 outputs and 1 Weigand / C&D Reader
  • Default Use: Interface to door RTE, DPS and Lock and Wiegand reader
  • Mounting: US Single-gang and EU / APAC 60mm mounting holes for electrical box mount
  • Dimensions: 3.3" W x 5.0" H x 1.5" D (84.0 mm x 127.0 mm x 37.0 mm)

EDM-M

  • Part #: 82342AKM
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) Hi-O CANbus to 4 inputs, 2 outputs
  • Default Use: Interface to door RTE, DPS and Lock and Wiegand reader
  • Mounting: US Single-gang and EU / APAC 60mm mounting holes for electrical box mount

EWM-M

  • Part #: 82360AKM
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) to 1 Wiegand / C&D Reader
  • Default Use: Interface to Wiegand reader
  • Mounting: US Single-gang and EU / APAC 60mm mounting holes for electrical box mount

EIM-M

  • Part #: 82340AKM
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) Hi-O CANbus to 4 inputs
  • Default Use: Monitor general purpose inputs around the door
  • Mounting: US Single-gang and EU / APAC 60mm mounting holes for electrical box mount

ELM

  • Part #: 82301AN
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) Hi-O CANbus to 1 lock
  • Default Use: Use for door control; reader / controller is hooked up to 1 lock output only
  • Mounting: Fits within US Single Gang Box or Hollow Door Frame

EVM

  • Part #: 82365AT
  • Purpose: Interface EDGE EVO Controller ( / Reader) 24VDC Hi-O CANbus to a 5-16VDC Hi-O iCLASS Reader
  • Default Use: Used strictly with Hi-O iCLASS Readers (sold separately)
  • Mounting: Fits within US Single Gang or EU / APAC 60mm electrical box
