HID® World Tag™ RFID Tags

LF high temperature RFID tags
HID World Tag™ RFID Tags
Overview
Specifications

Made of durable polycarbonate, each HID Global World Tag RFID transponder withstands manufacturing and processing temperatures of 212° F (100° C) or higher, enabling tag encapsulation in a broad range of end-use housings or use as-is.

Used indoors without encapsulation, these tags identify capital assets such as office furniture, business equipment, computers and printers. They are also suited for applications that require documentation or stock removal history on high value consumables.

Low frequency (LF) World Tag discs perform best affixed to wood, glass or plastic surfaces. They offer reliable, cost-effective tagging for near-proximity reader applications, with available data storage up to 2048-bit read-write capability.

For additional options, the heavy-duty HID IN Tag™ and Poly Tag families offer low frequency, high frequency and UHF configurations. HID Epoxy Disc transponders are well suited for other lighter-duty applications. For applications that demand extreme heat exposure, HID's Volcano Tag™ discs withstand peak temperatures up to 392° F (200° C).

Key Features:

  • Cost-effective — low cost discs deliver excellent size-to-performance ratios
  • Versatile — screw or glue mount securely to glass or plastic

HID can customize a tag to fit your unique requirements for chip type, dimensions, programming and materials.
