HID® Crescendo® Authentifikatoren bieten Unternehmen hochsichere digitale Ausweise mit zertifizierter Kryptografie entsprechend dem hohen NIST Authenticator Assurance Level SP800-63 IAL2 / IAL3. Eine sichere Identität ist die Grundlage des Zero-Trust-Sicherheitskonzepts und hilft Unternehmen, personen- und unternehmensbezogene Daten zu schützen und regulatorische Anforderungen zu erfüllen.

Die als Unternehmensausweis (visuelle ID) dienenden Crescendo-Smartcards können zur Anmeldung an der Workstation, für den Netzwerkzugang sowie zum Signieren und Verschlüsseln von E-Mails und Dokumenten verwendet werden. Neben den Smartcards sind auch andere Formate wie intelligente USB-Schlüssel verfügbar. Crescendo-Authentifikatoren implementieren verschiedene Protokolle, z. B. FIDO2, PIV/PKI und OATH, um die Interoperabilität mit den meisten Anwendungen sicherzustellen.

Sie sind für sich allein verwendbar oder können – im Rahmen eines unternehmensweiten Sicherheitskonzepts – auch durch HID-Lösungen verwaltet werden.
